"No it won't. Things made in Alpha don't understand shadows. Seems clear enough to me now." Topaz replies.

"OK. Let me talk to the reindeer."

He gives Tvorvak a hug. Hello Tvorvak-friend. How are you? Are you and the other reindeer still feeling tired from the adjacent shadow?

"A little, but we are strong Timur-friend" Tvorvak replies.

I'll get one of the others to take the robot thing through now and I'll come and take you through later. Tvorvak tells him.

[OOC It's been a bit mad today. Visit by potential new tutor for youngest.]

"Remus, could you accompany the robot and reindeer to the Sleepy Shadow, to make sure that they are safe and that the robot heads in the right direction, once the reindeer stops? Then you and the reindeer head back here. Tvorvak and I will collect the robot later."

[OOC - Cool and no worries. Its finance week for me this week so I managed to get that mostly finished today]

"Sure. I'll check there's nothing else there to attack us quickly before I come back. Wouldn't want to think that something will stop those robots doing what we need them to." Captain Sorchak replies.

[OOC Nice. Need to write a monthly report tomorrow - they're very brief.]

"Perfect! You are a star!"

"Topaz, will the robots take orders from any human? Do newer orders override older ones?"

]OOC - I write weekly ones]

"No, but I can instruct them to follow your orders if you want." Topaz replies and he does so.

"Thanks. You better tell them to follow Remus's orders too, in case the situation has changed in the Sleepy Shadow."

Topaz nods. "Yes probably a good idea."

He does the same for Captain Sorchak who lightly touches the side of his reindeer and together the three of them disappear in a cloud of rainbow sparkles that are a little like Trump but not the same.

[OOC Presumably after Timur has given the robot the instructions: "Follow the reindeer till it stops walking, then head to the island with a building on it, enter the building, find the man who is pictured on the Trump. then carry the man carefully, whilst keeping him alive, back to next to where the reindeer stopped walking, place the man gently on the ground and wait for further instructions."]

He waits up to three minutes for Captain Sochak and the reindeer to return.

[OOC - Yes I was just shortcutting a little]

After a couple of minutes Captain Sorchak and the reindeer return.

"Couldn't see anything else threatening, but my that place really puts a downer on your mind." He says.

"Believe me - it doesn't get better the longer you stay!"

"So I reckon it will take the robot around twenty minutes to find and retrieve Random, depending on how far down he is. So wait half an hour?"

"Oh I'm not doubting you. I'm amazed that you stayed there as long as you did." Captain Sorchak replies.

"We should get Caine to start passing the cure through." Llewella tells him. "I'll contact him and get him to get going."

"It was far from fun! Particularly while trying to fight a robot Osric."

"That sounds like a good idea, Aunt. Do the robots just poor it into the Vortex?"

"I expect they will if you order them to. That's what I'm guessing you do, though we'll have to make a number of trips." Llewella replies getting out a Trump. "Actually, thinking about it, we could do with a Trump Gate here .... and that means my errant daughter."

"Ah yes! Do you want me to call her, since she does seem to be avoiding you? We presumably need the Trump Gate from where Caine has the Cure to here."

"Yes and yes. It would make things much easier than having to pass through barrels one at a time. I know it'll be a strain on her, but honestly Jewel is mentally much stronger than her body shows. I hate to say it, but mentally she's stronger than me and I bet she'd give Fiona a run for her money now too. If only she'd do what I asked of her." Llewella replies with a sigh.

"She is remarkable. You should be proud of her. Who is going to look after Aisling?"

He pulls out his Trump of Jewel.

"I am proud of her, but I'd be even happier if she could just stop trying to rebel. Markovi de Kendilly should be back by now and can look after Aisling whilst she's here with me." Llewella replies.

"If everyone just did what you wanted them to, then wouldn't life be dull? <chuckle>"

"Yes, Markovi can handle that, but doesn't Jewel need to be with Caine to send the barrels here?"

"Yes, though technically she could open the Trump Gate from either side. However she doesn't have a Trump of the site of the battle, so that way is going to be a non starter unless she suddenly draws one. Given the time that won't be practical, so she'll have to do it from Caine's side. I can pass her through to him from here." Llewella says flatly.
